Log in, Authentication
To log on
- Tap the Log On button on the top right of the header bar.
(or the one on the slide-out menu) - Fill in the form with your User Id and password
- Tap the blue Log in button at the bottom
Your log-on credentials for Umana-web are the same as for the Umana desktop application.
(The terms LOG IN and LOG ON mean the same thing.)
MFA : Multi-Factor Authentication
You will probably be asked to confirm your identity (to "authenticate") using a another device or channel.
- You can get the MFA code on your cell phone, or work email, or home email – whatever is recorded in your employee file.
- Check the I trust this browser to tell Umana not to require MFA for a while.
Lost password
If you forget your password, you can change it by clicking the Lost Password link.
You will then be able to change your password, knowing your employee number or your Umana user ID, plus your postal code. MFA is always required.
You can only change your UMANA password from the web. If you are using your Windows password to log on, you cannot change that here. If you don't already have a Umana password, one will be created.
If you have a Umana password, but usually log in with your Windows password, then you can log on with either one.
To log off
- Tap the icon next to your user-id on the top right of the header bar. This will log you off.
Staying logged in
By default, Umana Web keeps you logged on for awhile.
Shared computer
If you are using Umana web on a shared computer / tablet, always log off when you finish.
